Ownership
The central compute and data-recording board for the flight avionics stack. It integrates power regulation, environmental and inertial sensors, ADC acquisition, onboard flash storage, current-loop interfaces, telemetry, USB, and recovery-system connectivity. I supported portions of schematic/layout review, then led system bring-up, interface validation, debugging, and continued board operation.
Design Focus
- Stage bring-up of power, compute, sensing, storage, and communication subsystems
- Verify sensor polarity, scaling, communication, and plausibility before vehicle integration
- Keep low-level ADC and reference routing isolated from digital and telemetry activity
- Validate recovery-system and current-loop interfaces at schematic and system level
- Maintain reliable board operation through repeated bench, integration, and vehicle testing
